Macfadyen Goes To The Show

The Agua Caliente Casino in Rancho Mirage, Calif., has announced a new $76 million, 2,000-seat concert venue called The Show and has named Steve Macfadyen director of entertainment.

Macfadyen was most recently regional director of facilities for Live Nation and CEO of an event facility consulting firm. He is also a veteran of House of Blues Entertainment and has held executive management positions at several California arenas and theatres.

The Show is scheduled to open Feb. 12 with Billy Joel, and has Tony Bennett, Trace Adkins and Jay Leno on the books.

Rancho Mirage is near Palm Springs in Southern California.
