The Other McCartney

If teenage girls aren’t football fans, they’ll still have a reason to tune in to the Thanksgiving Day game between Detroit Lions and Tennessee Titans, featuring heartthrob Jesse McCartney performing at halftime.

The erstwhile teen dream debuts his next single, “How Do You Sleep?” during the show at Ford Field in Detroit, as well as his chart topper “Leavin’.”

After the game, he’ll head for New York City to perform on “Live With Regis and Kelly” Dec. 1. He’ll then embark on a tour of holiday radio shows including the Z-100 Jingle Ball in NYC with Rihanna, Chris Brown, Katy Perry and Leona Lewis, and KISS-FM’s Jingle Ball in Los Angeles with The Pussycat Dolls.

McCartney recently appeared on the American Music Awards, where he introduced the U.K.’s Lewis, who scored a hit with the McCartney-penned “Bleeding Love.”

He’ll also be making some small-screen appearances in the coming months with guest roles on “Law and Order: SVU” and “Greek.”
