Guilty Verdict In T.I. Shootout

An Ohio man was found guilty of murder in the 2006 death of Philant Johnson, rapper T.I.’s personal assistant, by a Cincinnati jury Nov. 26.

Hosea Thomas was also convicted of felonious assault and of being a felon in possession of a gun.

T.I. testified in the case that he was target of a hail of gunfire Nov. 26 and Johnson was a lifelong friend as well as his assistant.

T.I. was not injured in the shootout.

Thomas faces up to life in prison and is scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 23.
