A Winter Of Disco Biscuits

After five nights of fun ringing in New Year’s Eve at New York’s Nokia Ballroom, the Disco Biscuits will continue the fusion jam goodness into 2009 with tour dates through March.

The tour kicks off at the Calvin Theatre in Northampton, Mass., Jan. 16 and concludes with two surprise shows March 7-8, to be announced Dec. 8.

Additional tour stops include Town Ballroom in Buffalo, N.Y. (Jan. 18), Newport Music Hall in Columbus, Ohio (Jan. 21), First Avenue in Minneapolis (Jan. 23), Headliners Music Hall in Louisville, Ky. (Jan. 28), Cannery Ballroom in Nashville (Jan. 29) and The Tabernacle in Atlanta (Jan. 31).

Other dates include The Lyric Oxford in Oxford, Miss. (Feb. 4), La Zona Rosa in Austin, Texas (Feb. 6), House Of Blues in Dallas (Feb. 8), Liberty Hall in Lawrence, Ky. (Feb. 15), Higher Ground in South Burlington, Vt. (Feb. 26-27) and the new House Of Blues in Boston (Feb. 28).

More dates are expected to be added soon as the band wraps up work on its fifth studio album, its first since 2002.
