Bumbershoot’s Stimulus Plan

Organizers of Seattle’s Bumbershoot Music & Arts Festival are doing their part to help cash-strapped fans.

A limited edition three-day pass for the Sept. 5-7 shindig is available for $60 to BumberFan club members. Membership is free and available online at Bumbershoot.org.

Additional details for the 2009 festival, including further ticket information and lineup, will be announced in the spring.
Bumbershoot features live music, comedy, theatre, dance, film, urban crafts and literary and visual arts at 20 indoor and outdoor venues.

The roster for 2008’s event featured Death Cab for Cutie, Superchunk, Tapes ‘n Tapes, Two Gallants, Beck, Stone Temple Pilots, Lucinda Williams, Neko Case, Ingrid Michaelson, Jakob Dylan, Del Tha Funky Homosapien, Lee “Scratch” Perry, Saul Williams, Joe Bonamassa, M. Ward, The Walkmen, All-American Rejects and Paramore.
