Writing For Water

Who doesn’t deserve clean drinking water? To that effect, who doesn’t like lyrics?

Jewel has recruited celebrity friends and is auctioning off handwritten lyrics to help fund Project Clean Water, which is managed by her brother.

Along with some of Jewel’s own musings, handwritten lyrics come from Carrie Underwood, Brooks & Dunn, Katy Perry, Jason Mraz and others. Bidding at Jeweljkauction.com runs through Dec. 18.

“Project Clean Water has always been my passion along with music. I am so excited to be able to find a way to tie the two together with this auction,” Jewel said. “I am also very blessed to have the support of my musician friends who will help make a stronger impact on the donations from the auction.”
