Lil’s Back And Blaming You

Lily Allen has announced the release date for the follow-up to her 2007 debut and is beginning to line up live dates in support.

The new album, It’s Not Me, It’s You, will hit the streets Feb. 10. Allen wrote and recorded the project with some help from producer Greg Kurstin, who collaborated with her on her previous outing and is a member of The Bird And The Bee.

“We decided to try and make bigger sounding, more ethereal songs, real songs,” the singer explained. “I wanted to work with one person from start to finish to make it one body of work. I wanted it to feel like it had some sort of integrity. I think I’ve grown up a bit as a person and I hope it reflects that.”

Although Allen is expected to tour the U.S., the only dates on her calendar so far are in Europe.

Stops include Carling Academy Glasgow (March 14), The Academy in Dublin (March 16), Carling Academy Birmingham (March 23) and Sheperds Bush Empire in London (March 26), as well as gigs in Germany, France, The Netherlands and Belgium.
