Staind Pulls Toronto Gig

An ailing frontman has caused Staind to cancel its Dec. 8 appearance at Toronto’s Sound Academy.

Bronchitis appears to be the culprit. Staind lead vocalist Aaron Lewis is under doctor’s orders to rest his voice for a minimum of three days, according to a statement from Live Nation.

“Staind sincerely regrets this unavoidable cancellation and apologizes to fans for any disappointment caused,” the message reads.

At press time there was no indication as to whether the Toronto date will be the only one canceled. Staind’s next show is scheduled for The Fillmore in Detroit on December 10.
