Harcourt Goes On Paper

Nic Harcourt, who recently left his position as music director of KCRW-FM and host of “Morning Becomes Eclectic,” has landed a new job.

He’s the music & culture editor for LA, the monthly mag for the Los Angeles Times. And he couldn’t have picked a better time to join print media.

Harcourt begins Feb. 8, contributing a monthly column.

“LA has distinguished itself from other magazines with its highly personalized content that looks at the city of Los Angeles from a different perspective,” Harcourt said in a statement. “I look forward to working with the talented LA team and sharing my point of veiw with the LA readers.”

Harcourt was one of the more influential DJ’s in the U.S., with “Morning Becomes Eclectic” introducing countless acts to a listening audience in SoCal and beyond.
