Pieroni Takes Live Global

Italian promoter Andrea Pieroni has teamed with artist manager and producer Fabrizio Barbacci to expand his Live Group.

Pieroni and Barbacci, who has worked with Ligabue, Negrita, and Roy Paci & Aretuska, have formed Live Global, which they’re describing as being “fully based on 360-degree deals.”

They believe the new company offers acts the main channels to produce and distribute their products in the very best way possible, covering the worldwide market.

The Italian and international acts the company will work with will be managed on a full basis, from record releases to live shows and merchandise and publishing.

Pieroni says in this way, both old and new acts once forced to spread their work on different levels will find all their needs under one roof.

The first acts to sign 360s with Live Global are Hey Hey Radio, Thank You For The Drum Machine, and Granturismo. All of them will have debut albums released in 2009.

Live Global staff will operate from the Live offices in Florence. The office team will be leaded by Marcello Venturi.

The Live group now includes promoting companies Live srl, Hub srl and Maccaroni Bros. catering services. It runs the booking of Italian club venues including Rolling Stone, Zoe Club, Fillmore and Viper Theatre.
