West Fashioning A New Career?

The brazen artist is gearing up to move across the pond to pursue his dream of starting a fashion line. And he’s reportedly applying to leading fashion houses in the U.K. and Europe to learn the tools of the trade.

West will set up shop in London next year and has said he’s even willing to make tea if it means he can get his foot in the door at a fashion house, the Daily Mirror U.K. tabloid reported.

“I’m going to go and take an internship and just do something that’s like completely normal, and just rap at the weekends or something,” he told the paper.

A source reportedly close to the matter confirmed to the Mirror that fashion is a top priority for the rapper.

“Everyone is surprised at just how seriously Kanye is taking his fashion dream,” the source said. “He is always in the front rows during the Paris and Milan fashion weeks, chatting away to the likes of Lily Allen.

“He absolutely loves London and wants to absorb the fashion over here.”
