Flowers In Winter
The trek kicks off at The Kent Stage in Ohio Jan. 30, hitting theatres and clubs around the eastern U.S. and Canada before winding things up at Birchmere in Alexandria, Va., Feb. 22.
Stops include 20th Century Theatre in Cincinnati, Ohio (Feb. 2); The Magic Bag in Ferndale, Mich. (Feb. 4); Chicago’s Old Town School Of Folk Music (Feb. 7); Trinity Church in Toronto (Feb. 13); Tupelo Music Hall in Londonderry, N.H. (Feb. 15); Boston’s Paradise Rock Club (Feb. 18) and World Cafe Live in Philadelphia (Feb. 20).

Asking For Flowers, Edwards’ first new album in three years, has been called her best work. Co-produced by Edwards and Jim Scott (Tom Petty, Whiskeytown) the record features a handful of master backing musicians including The Heartbreakers keyboardist Benmont Tench, Bob Dylan drummer Don Heffington and Jackson Browne bassist Bob Glaub, among others.
