The deal gives the casino signage inside and outside the AEG-managed venue located near the massive L.A. Live development as well as on the venue’s Web site, according to the Contra Costa Times.

“Partnering with [Staples Center] gives us the ability to have a relationship with other like-minded businesses. It allows us to focus on a specific audience,” Steve Lengel, San Manuel executive director of operations, told the Times. “It just makes sense for us to be partners.”

The move is one of a series of cross-promotions by the tribe, including a long-term deal with Live Nation earlier this year that renamed the Glen Helen Pavilion in Devore, Calif., as San Manuel Amphitheatre.
