This Board Goes To 11
Paul Simon and Christopher Guest have racked up some new titles for their resumes: members of the board of trustees for Boston’s Berklee College of Music.
The appointments of Simon and Guest will boost the board’s expertise across the spectrums of education, songwriting, performance and film, according to Berklee president Roger Brown.

“We believe we have a board of trustees poised to help Berklee be a nexus of musical creativity in the 21st century,” Brown stated.
Simon, who’s won handfuls of Grammys and has two scholarships in his name at the university, was given an honorary doctorate from Berklee in 1986.
Guest, whose most memorable role could arguably be playing Nigel Tufnel in the 1984 rockumentary “This Is Spinal Tap,” also holds an honorary degree from the school.
