DMX Pleads Guilty
DMX has reached a plea deal, agreeing to plead guilty to multiple drug possession, theft and animal cruelty charges in a Phoenix courtroom.
A Maricopa County Superior Court commissioner has set a sentencing hearing for Jan. 30. The plea ends a year of missed court dates; the rapper has been arrested several times in Arizona.

DMX was charged with misdemeanor animal cruelty after Maricopa County sheriff’s deputies raided his home last year on suspicion of animal abuse, finding three dead dogs, guns, ammunition and drug paraphernalia.
DMX also allegedly gave a false name and Social Security number when being treated at a Scottsdale hospital in April. He was indicted on felony charges of theft and taking someone’s identity.
