Red kicks off 2009 with a show at Ford Park in Beaumont, Texas, Jan. 23 at the Hot Hearts Student Conference along with Clayton King, Aaron Ivey, Living Illusions and Superchick.

On the books for February are shows at Exit / In in Nashville (Feb. 10), Subterranean in Chicago (Feb. 12), The Rock in Maplewood, Minn. (Feb. 13), Nutty’s in Sioux Falls, S.D. (Feb. 14), The Waiting Room in Omaha, Neb. (Feb. 15), The Stones Throw in Eau Claire, Wis. (Feb. 17), Orpheum Theatre in Madison, Wis., (Feb 18) and Briarcrest College in Caronport, Saskatchewan, Canada.

In July the band is scheduled to appear at the at the Willmar Civic Center in Minnesota Feb. 17.

Red’s sophomore album, Innocence & Instinct, is set for release Feb. 10 via Essential Records/Red Distribution. The Grammy-nominated act has already earned airplay for its single “Death of Me” weeks before its official release to radio.

Red has toured and shared the stage with Papa Roach, Sevendust, Three Days Grace, Flyleaf, Buckcherry, Puddle of Mudd, Staind and Seether.
