The duo of Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock launches its latest assault on America Jan. 10 at a benefit for St. Louis Cardinals manager Tony LaRussa’s Animal Rescue Foundation at the Lesher Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek, Calif., and continues through at least a Sept. 3-6 visit to The Orleans Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

In between, stops will include Palace Theatre in Louisville (Jan. 31); the Kirby Center in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. (Feb. 5); Suncoast Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas (April 3-5); the Beaumont Cherry Festival in Riverside, Calif. (July 4); and the Hard Rock Hotel in Biloxi, Miss. (July 10-11). Expect more dates to be added.

The original emo duo, who met in Australia in the cast of “Jesus Christ Superstar” in 1975, is coming off a hectic 2008, with an appearance on Fox-TV’s “Don’t Forget The Lyrics” and a dinner date with former Phillipines First Lady and noted shoe connoisseur Imelda Marcos, according to the band’s publicist.

Air Supply also performed for the King and Queen of Malaysia and had some face time with the U.S. ambassador to Singapore and her husband, as well as appearing on the Israeli version of “Dancing With the Stars.”
