GMA President John Styll said the group of inductees have achieved “great professional and personal success” and share common heritage in how gospel has impacted their lives.

Parton has released gospel and Christian-themed songs in addition to her country and pop hits. Her Dollywood theme park in Pigeon Forge, Tenn., also houses the Southern Gospel Music Museum and Hall of Fame.

Smith is one of the top Christian artists, with 18 albums and many hits.

Jones is singer, host and executive producer of the “Bobby Jones Gospel” program on the BET network as well as the host of “Bobby Jones Next Generation” on the Gospel Music Channel.

The Dixie Hummingbirds have influenced artists in various genres, including Jackie Wilson, James Brown and Paul Simon, since forming in 1928.

Goss is a keyboard player, arranger and producer who has worked with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, the Cathedrals, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, Anthony Burger and Gaither Vocal Band.
