Knight was forced to surrender the catalog when he declared bankruptcy. Chapter 11 trustee Todd Nielsen told the New York Daily News that the recent discovery of “thousands” of tracks should stir interest.

However, another source told the Daily News it could be a tough sale.

“Some people don’t want to go near the catalog because they think Suge still believes it’s his,” Lydia Harris, who was awarded a $107 million default settlement from Knight in 2007, told the paper. She claims Knight said “You dead, bitch” to her at a court hearing in 2007.

The artifacts are expected to go on the auction bock Jan. 15.
