According to a police report, Byron McCane, aka Bizzy Bone, was returning from a Los Angeles restaurant to his hotel room Jan. 5 when he was confronted by several men who beat him, choked him and took his jewelry, as reported by the Los Angeles Times’ LA Now blog.

Jones, a contract employee for anti-gang organization Unity One, was arrested, according to the LAPD, which is still searching for other suspects.

Jones is held in lieu of $1.1 million bail, according to the Times, and a Unity One official told the paper Jones was terminated from his contract but may be rehired if cleared of charges.

McCane is not a contributor to Bone Thugs-n-Harmony’s 2007 effort, Strength and Loyalty.
