‘Blake Incarcerated’ Files For Divorce

The honeymoon appears to be over for Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder-Civil as lawyers for the pair confirm he is seeking a divorce on the grounds of the singer’s alleged infidelity.

Attorney Henri Brandman said Blake Fielder-Civil told him “to commence divorce proceedings on the grounds of Amy’s adultery.”

Although Winehouse pleaded with fans to call for the release of “my Blake” during concert appearances last year, tabloid papers have recently linked the singer to other men, including an alleged new beau, Josh Bowman.

Winehouse and Fielder-Civil married in May 2007, but he was arrested six months later. He was sentenced in July to 27 months in jail for beating up a bar manager and then trying to bribe him to keep it on the down-low.

He was released into a drug rehab center in November, but was returned to prison weeks later for breaching his bail conditions.

Fielder-Civil told the British newspaper News of the World last month he wanted out of their marriage in order to help Winehouse with her drug problems.

“I have to let her go to save her life,” Blake Fielder-Civil told the paper. “I am not abandoning her. I am doing this out of love.”

He went on to say that he was to blame for her drug use.

“I made the biggest mistake of my life by taking heroin in front of her,” Fielder-Blake told News of the World. “I introduced her to heroin, crack cocaine and self-harming. I feel more than guilty.”

He also said he wasn’t in it for the money.

“I’m not interested in her money,” Fielder-Blake said. “I always offered to do a pre-nuptial agreement before we got married.

Winehouse’s fortune is estimated by the Sunday Times at 10 million pounds ($15 million).
