The 20-city tour, sponsored by Comedy Central, kicks off Jan. 24 at Immokalee Casino in Ft. Myers, Fla., and will make stops including Chicago, Minneapolis, Detroit, Cleveland, Washington D.C., Dallas, Atlantic City, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Orlando, Atlanta, San Francisco and Seattle until it wraps at the Aladdin Theatre in Portland, Ore., May 16.

And that’s not all for the Pennsylvania native who reportedly claims “This Is Spinal Tap” as one of his greatest inspirations.

Lynch’s new, one-hour special will air on Comedy Central later this year with plans for the DVD to be on store shelves in December.

In addition to two previous appearances on “Comedy Central Presents,” two live albums and live DVD, the performer earned a Tony Award nomination for his starring role in the 2006 Broadway adaptation of “The Wedding Singer.”
