The album, which is set for release Jan. 27, is the follow-up to the band’s 2007 self-titled debut.

The tour kicks off at The Casbah in San Diego Feb. 5 and winds down on the East Coast at Zankel Hall At Carnegie Hall in New York City March 7 as part of the WFUV Live at Zankel series.

Additional dates include the Museum Of Natural History in Los Angeles (Feb. 6); Soho Restaurant & Music Club in Santa Barbara, Calif. (Feb. 7); The Independent in San Francisco (Feb. 9) and Doug Fir Lounge in Portland, Ore. (Feb. 11).

There’s also shows at Chop Suey in Seattle (Feb. 12); StageOne in Fairfield, Conn. (March 3); Barns At Wolf Trap in Vienna, Va. (March 4), and Tin Angel in Philadelphia (March 5).

Before the tour, the duo of singer Inara George (The Bird) and keyboardist/producer Greg Kurstin (The Bee) appear on the small screen, with performances on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” (Jan. 26) and “Jimmy Kimmel Live” (Feb. 4).
