Sorry, Shaaaaaron!
The Sun has agreed to apologize and pay undisclosed damages and Sharon’s legal fees after falsely accusing her of “driving her frail husband Ozzy Osbourne to destruction.”
Sharon Osbourne took the paper to Britain’s High Court over the October 2007 story. Her lawyer, John Kelly, said the unfounded allegations were “extremely distressing, hurtful and damaging.”
The Sun’s lawyer, Patrick Callaghan, said the newspaper sincerely apologized and accepted that the claims were untrue.
Good thing, too. We know of at least one concert promoter who can vouch for Sharon’s dangerously good aim with her kicking foot.
