It’s An Il Divo World

Il Divo is prepping for a 2009 trek that will keep the highly talented quartet touring behind its latest album, The Promise, through mid-July, so far.

“An Evening With Il Divo,” featuring David Miller, Carlos Marin, Urs Buhler and Sebastien Izambard, will kick off at the U.K.’s Manchester Evening News Arena Feb. 21 and make stops at 31 European cities before heading Stateside.

The U.S. leg begins May 8 at Patriot Center in Fairfax, Va., and makes stops including Chicago’s Rosemont Theatre ( May 19-20), Philadelphia’s Susquehanna Bank Center (May 10), Detroit’s Fox Theatre (May 17), Portland, Ore.’s Rose Garden Arena (June 3), Toyota Center in Houston (June 23) and St. Paul’s Xcel Energy Center (July 8).

Other stops include Denver’s Wells Fargo Theatre (July 13), Dodge Theatre in Phoenix (July 15), Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas (July 17), HP Pavilion At San Jose in California (July 23), and dates end at the Reno Event Center in Nevada July 24.

Il Divo was also scheduled to perform at the Inaugural Purple Ball honoring President-elect Barack Obama Jan. 20 in Washington, D.C.
