Alanis Goes South

Alanis Morissette is heading south for the winter – kicking off a month-long trek through Brazil, Argentina and Mexico in support of her latest, Flavors of Entanglement.

The tour, which launched Jan. 21 in Manaus, Brazil, runs through Feb. 20 and ends at Auditorio Telmex in Guadalajara, Mexico. In between, the Canadian songbird stops in 15 cities including Sao Paulo, Rio De Janeiro and Porto Alegre in Brazil; Buenos Aires, Argentina; and Mexico City and Monterrey, Mexico.

It’s hard to believe our jagged little girl is all grown up. It’s been nearly 15 years since she burst onto the music scene with Jagged Little Pill and its clutch of hit singles.

Since then, she’s added films to her resume, including playing the role of God in “Dogma” and contributing music to “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe,” among others.
