Here’s something you don’t see every day – Phil Manzanera playing three straight nights in a club. Ronnie Scott’s in London will host the Roxy Music lead guitarist on February 9, 10 & 11,
Last year’s “American Idol” winner, David Cook, will launch a lengthy tour in February. Playing mostly universities, look for Mr. Cook at Florida State University in Tallahassee on February 13; University Of Mississippi in Oxford on February 15; Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri, on February 24; Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York, on March 10 and Notre Dame University in South Bend on April 18. Other stops include Green Bay, Niagara Falls, Atlantic City, New Haven and Kansas City.
Bret Michaels updated with a few new ones today. Look for the “Rock Of Love” star / Poison frontman playing Wantagh, New York, on March 19 at Mulcahy’s; Atlantic City on March 20 at House Of Blues; Hampton Beach, New Hampshire, on May 1 at Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom and Biloxi on May 22 at Hard Rock Café.
And we have a fine collection of new dates for the Great Lake Swimmers. New stops include March 31 in Seattle at Tractor Tavern; April 4 in Los Angeles at Spaceland; April 17 in New York City at Bowery Ballroom and April 23 in Madison, Wisconsin, at High Noon Saloon.
And that brings us to the close of another week in concert data. Remember – No weekend is complete unless you experience live music. Bar band, arena band, club singer, lounge singer – it makes no difference as long as it’s live. And, of course, you’re there. G’night!
