Dottie Rambo was killed in a bush crash in May. The lawsuit, filed Jan. 22 in circuit court in Nashville, asks for a jury trial and compensatory damages in excess of $25,000.

The lawsuit names James Meadows, Pyramid Coach (which was dissolved about a month after the accident, according to the suit), and DC Investments Leasing, a subsidiary of Pyramid.

Dottie Rambo, 74, on her way to a Mother’s Day performance in Texas, died when the bus she was on ran off a road in southwest Missouri and struck in embankment. Seven other people were injured.

The lawsuit contends Meadows was speeding and negligent and that Pyramid/DC Investments Leasing are liable for the negligence.
