The weekend jaunt gets into the jig April 17 at Picture House in Edinburgh, then hits The Forum in London April 18 and Manchester’s April 19.

While it’s never simply Irish folk with Sharon Shannon and The Big Band, the group’s return to the stage will see members Mundy and Damien Dempsey on sabbatical with MacGowan bringing a bit of punk, not to mention his own inimitable brand of Irish drama, to the proceedings.
