Krall Does Canada

After taking several months off the road, Diana Krall is gearing up to hit stages in her Canadian homeland from late March through mid-May.

The Grammy-winning jazz vocalist/pianist will be touring in support of her new album, Quiet Nights, which is set for release in March on Verve.

Krall, also known as Mrs. Elvis Costello, will play three dates in Hawaii with two shows at Neal S. Blaisdell Concert Hall in Honolulu (March 19-20) followed by a gig at Castle Theatre @ Maui Arts & Cultural Center in Kahului (March 21).

The Canadian tour kicks off at Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium in Calgary, Alberta, April 15 and wraps with a performance at Orpheum in Vancouver, British Columbia, May 13.

Additional dates include shows at MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba (April 22); The John Labatt Centre in London, Ontario (April 25); two nights at Massey Hall in Toronto (April 30-May 1) and two shows at Place des Arts in Montreal (May 6-7).

Krall will be accompanied by Anthony Wilson on guitars, Jeff Hamilton on drums, John Clayton on bass and a 45-piece orchestra under conductor Alan Broadbent.
