The rapper, real name Earl Simons, was also placed on 18 months’ supervised probation Jan. 30 for theft, marijuana possession and animal cruelty charges.

Simmons pleaded guilty in December after an August 2007 raid at his suburban Phoenix home turned up three dead dogs, guns, ammunition and drug paraphernalia, according to authorities.

During a later search, he briefly barricaded himself in his bedroom.

Simmons has been in jail since his Dec. 9 arrest in Miami on a warrant after failing to appear in court.
