The band kicks things off at the Langerado Music Festival in Miami March 7 and will travel to New York City, Washington, D.C., and Boston through March 21.

Formed in London in 1982, the legendary band is known for its raucous and entertaining shows as well as surviving many ups and downs throughout the years.

The Pogues’ blend of traditional Irish music with a punk edge was most recently featured in the HBO series “The Wire” and the book, “Rum, Sodomy & the Lash.”

Published in November, the book gives the backstory on the band’s second album of the same name.
