George Thorogood & The Destroyers put the blues in Chicago’s House of Blues.

Other stops include the Adler Theater in Davenport, Iowa (March 1), State Theater in Ithaca, N.Y. (March 10), Playhouse in Ridgefield, Conn. (March 16-17), and the Grand Opera House in Wilmington, Del. (March 23).

Thorogood and company’s European run will see them in Norway, Denmark, Belgium, Holland, England, Scotland and Ireland.

A series of summer U.S. dates is planned, with more dates to be announced soon.

Thorogood promises fans will see a great show.

“It’s always been about the live show for me,” Thorogood said. “From day one, I set out to be a live performer more than anything.

“All of my favorite artists – Little Richard, J. Geils, Mitch Ryder, Chuck Berry – they were all great live. And the Destroyers, we strive for that. We’re still working at it, and we’re still working.”
