Escape The Plague

Lamb of God is offering its fans a real treat with the Escape The Plague contest, coinciding with the release of its fifth studio album, “Wrath,” Feb. 24.

The first 100,000 copies of the album will include a card with a special code. Fans then go to the band’s Web site beginning at 12:01 a.m. (EST) Feb. 24 to enter the code and answer three questions.

The Web site will randomly select 100 winners, who will then be directed to the prize page to select their prize.

Escape The Plague prizes include a trip for two to see Lamb of God perform at a major UK festival in August, a barbecue at your home hosted by Lamb of God vocalist Randy Blythe, a guitar lesson from Lamb of God guitarist Mark Morton and the chance to introduce the band onstage in your town.

Lamb of God will show off tunes from its latest release on tour in April. The metal band is bringing along As I Lay Dying and Children of Bodom as main support acts with the opening slot rotating between God Forbid and Municipal Waste.

The tour kicks off April 2 at Dodge Theater in Phoenix, Ariz., 2 and concludes May 15 at House of Blues in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Additional dates include stops at Hollywood Palladium in Hollywood, Calif. (April 3); The Palladium in Worcester, Mass. (April 18), Palladium Ballroom in Dallas (April 26) Congress Theater in Chicago (May 1) and House Of Blues in Boston (May 12).
