Duel honors for both excellence in bowhunting and literary excellence will be presented to the Nuge during the National Field Archery Association’s World Archery Festival in Las Vegas Feb. 6.
“I started twanging the one-string ‘bout the same time as the 6-string,” Nugent said. “There was some sort of bow & arrow in my hands as young as six or seven, I’m sure. Got my first guitar around the same time and both have remained my favorite weapons to date!”
The induction cements the Motor City Madman’s status as a bowhunting legend of the 21st century, according to the NBHF.
