Coldplay has announced the first dates of its North American tour. The band kicks off north of Portland, Ore., in Ridgefield, Wash., July 10 at the Amphitheatre at Clark County. Onsale is a few days away – Feb. 14.

Actually, three shows go on sale on Valentine’s Day, the other two being the Washington show (The Gorge Amphitheatre, July 11) and the San Francisco show (Shoreline, July 13).

The July 16 show at San Diego’s Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre goes on sale July 13, as do Toronto, Raleigh and Charlotte.

Here’s a few more before you click on the tour schedule: Dallas on July 21, Houston July 22 and Toronto at “To Be Determined” July 29. It’s an outdoor amphitheatre tour.

Additional dates will be announced. The last one of record is Ford Amphitheatre in Tampa August 9.
