Russo’s home suffered $500,000 of uninsured damage in the Feb. 5 blaze, and an outpouring of support from the music community helped create the swift response for the benefit.

“I am at a complete loss for words,” Russo said in a statement. “My entire family is now homeless, all our pets are gone and our earthly possessions have been lost. In these tough times, my family had been out of work and the financial burden was too heavy for me to afford fire insurance. The support from my friends has been overwhelming.”

Pro surfer and musician Timmy Curran is also part of the HoB San Diego benefit lineup. Tickets are $45 for general admission and $100 for balcony seats for tonight’s (Feb. 10) show, and went on sale yesterday.

Tickets are available via House of Blues and Ticketmaster, which will also auction the final 100 tickets.
