Nederlander Inks San Jose Deal

Nederlander Concerts and Team San Jose are partnering to produce and promote events at the California city’s historic Civic Auditorium.

The 3,500-capacity downtown venue, which opened in 1934, is undergoing a $13 million renovation with plans for new sound and lighting systems, seating upgrades, a new concessions program and additional restrooms.

Renovations are reportedly set to wrap as early as April.

Team San Jose manages the Civic Auditorium as well as the city’s Convention Center and other cultural facilities.
