Steve Blanck Dies

Steve Blanck, 62, a partner in Gayle Force Entertainment, died in Riverside, Calif., from complications of pulmonary disease Feb. 17.

Blanck started his career at the William Morris Agency in 1973, eventually co-heading the international booking department.

During his WMA career, he represented Jose Feliciano, The Spinners, Captain & Tennille and Manhattan Transfer.

He became a VP of Caesars World Productions in 1984, booking talent for casino properties in Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe and Atlantic City.

Blanck and Danny Heller formed Gayle Force in 1992 where they produced shows for corporate events, casinos, cruise ships and, from 2003-07, Harrah’s Casinos.
