HoF Honors Taj Mahal

Taj Mahal will be inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame and honored for his four decades of blending the sounds of Africa, the Caribbean and Hawaii.

The two-time Grammy winner, whose real name is Henry St. Clair Fredericks, will be inducted along with New Orleans soul singer Irma Thomas, Chicago bluesman Son Seals and ragtime guitar player Rev. Gary Davis in a ceremony at the Memphis, Tenn., Blues Hall May 6.
