MJ Confirms O2 Shows

After more than an hour-and-a-half delay, Michael Jackson walked onto the stage set up outside London’s O2 Arena to confirm he will play 10 shows at the venue this summer.

Jackson’s appearance lasted just a few minutes, and that only because he kept getting interrupted by screaming fans wielding cameras and shouting, “We love you Michael!”

The singer also had very little to say, other than his shows at the O2, which kick off July 8, are a farewell.

“These will be my final show performances in London. And when I say this is it, it really means this is it because…” Jackson said before being interrupted.

Looks like we’ll never know why they’re his last shows because he didn’t finish the sentence after fans calmed down enough to let him speak again.

“I’ll be performing the songs my fans want to hear,” he continued. “This is really it. This is the final curtain call. I’ll see you in July.”

More screaming and picture taking. Then, “This is it. I’ll see you in July.”

And with that, the King of Pop waved to fans and left the stage.
