Tina Turner Postponements

Tina Turner may seem indestructible, but it turns out she’s as susceptible to the flu as the rest of us, as a nasty bug forces the performer to postpone a couple of U.K. engagements.

Affected is tonight’s show in London at the O2 Arena and tomorrow night’s gig at the Sheffield Arena. New dates are May 3 for the former and May 5 for the latter. Tickets will be valid for the new dates and those who cannot attend the May shows can get refunds at point of purchase.

“Tina always want to give one hundred percent and has been overwhelmed by the reaction from her UK fans at the gigs last week,” a spokesperson for the artist said. “She regrets this decision to postpone and the inconvenience to all those fans with tickets but wants to make sure each concert she does is memorable for everyone.”
