“We are delighted to host the world’s premier music event in our hometown again, especially with the newly opened Grammy Museum in our backyard,” said Recording Academy CEO / President Neil Portnow. “As always, Grammy Week will kick off with events that showcase various genres of music, educational programs and charitable initiatives. We also look forward to working on another remarkable Grammy telecast with the City of Los Angeles and our great partners at CBS and Staples Center.”

While giving the date, time, place and TV network, the Academy has yet to mention who will perform at the next awards. Or, for that matter, which male singer will miss the peformance due to being arrested for allegedly attacking his girlfriend. But give them a break. These things take time.
