Coldplay Sets Acer Record

Coldplay’s four-date run at Sydney’s Acer Arena set a new attendance record at the venue.

The British band has sold the most tickets for an act performing multiple nights, moving a total of 59,391 over four shows March 11-15.

The record of 57, 788 previously belonged to Justin Timberlake from his November 2007 tour.

“Coldplay really do deliver a fantastic concert experience,” said arena GM David Humphreys.
