Ex-Brewster, Mass., police officer Joseph Houston has a problem, all right. He allegedly downed about a six-pack of beer in a Boston bar Jan. 18 before heading over to the T.D. Banknorth Arena with two of his brothers and a current Brewster cop, according to the Cape Cod Times.

Witnesses sitting in the row in front of the Houston brothers’ party told police investigators they were “obviously drunk” and were drinking in the venue. One of the witnesses, all family members, told police Houston urinated onto the floor next to him and leaned toward the women in the group and exposed himself.

Suffolk County District Attorney Daniel Conley said in a press release that Houston urinated on a 17-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man, both from Connecticut.
But that’s not the least of it.

According to the release, as reported by the Boston Herald, “Houston was arrested by [Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority] Transit Police for trespassing at North Station. That case was sparked by Houston’s ejection from the concert and subsequent refusal to leave the area after repeated orders to do so by officers.”

Not only did he refuse to leave, the statement claims he flashed his badge at one officer and called another one, who is black, “Obama.”

He apparently reentered the venue in violation of officers’ orders.

Brewster officials reportedly terminated Houston from his job as one of the city’s finest after a closed-door hearing of city selectmen Feb. 26, for “conduct unbecoming an officer.”

He was to have been arraigned in Boston April 8 on charges including two counts of assault and battery, and one count of “open and gross lewdness” stemming from the incident.
