Executive Profile: Bob Newman, AEG Facilities

Bob Newman, AEG Facilities’ chief operating officer, isn’t an easy guy to catch up with. And considering he has oversight of buildings on four continents, it should come as no surprise he spends a lot of time on the road.

But Pollstar did catch up with Bob in between stops in “New Jersey, London, Berlin, Poughkeepsie, Shanghai and Beijing,” as AEG spokesman Michael Roth joked. Actually, it wasn’t much of a joke – we’re pretty sure he wasn’t really in Poughkeepsie.

He has a lot of territory to cover. When we talk about worldwide facility management, AEG Facilities is hard on the heels of companies like SMG and Live Nation with 55 of the world’s top venues either owned or managed across the globe.
