Phish Season To Start Earlier

Phish fans the world over are scrambling to adjust their summer plans with the band announcing a new kick-off date for the reunion tour.

Phish will now open the tour on May 31 at Boston’s Fenway Park, home of the Red Sox as well as the legendary “Green Monster.”

Fans living in the area of the band’s previously announced opening date – June 4 in Wantagh, NY, at the Nikon at Jones Beach Theater – are also grinning today. Although the town is no longer ground zero for the start of the tour, the location did pick up a third Phish date, June 2, making the Phish @ Jones Beach schedule June 2, 4 & 5.

The new Jones Beach date goes on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. EDT April 17, while the Fenway show goes on sale at 10 a.m. April 18.

However, an online ticket request opportunity for both shows is currently underway right now and running through April 12 at the Phish portal at MusicToday.com.
