Eddie Vedder Tickets Hit Presale
The tour kicks off at Palace Theatre in Albany, N.Y., June 8 and wraps up with two shows under the sun and surf at the Hawaii Theatre in Honolulu July 1-2.
Additional dates include stops at Tower Theatre in Upper Darby, Pa. (June 11-12), Ryman Auditorium in Nashville (June 18), Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta (June 23) and Maui Arts & Cultural Center in Kahului, Hawaii (June 29).
The presale kicked off today exclusively to active, participating U.S. and Canadian members of the Ten Club. Members had to have joined the club as of April 7.
Each member gets the chance to purchase one pair of tickets to one confirmed show on the tour. No single tickets will be sold.
The presale runs through Friday at 5 p.m. PST. When fans pick the Eddie Vedder show they’d like to see, their Visa or MasterCard will be authorized but that doesn’t mean the tickets are theirs. After the presale ends, members will be randomly selected to buy the tickets.
The Ten Club helpfully warns fans not to use a debit card or a credit card that’s close to being maxed out, as the bank will immediately hold funds during the authorization.
The lucky chosen members will receive a confirmation e-mail finalizing the purchase and their credit cards will be charged. The not-so-lucky will be e-mailed info about the public on-sale.
Tickets are nonrefundable and will be distributed at will call on the night of each show. Ten Club members must bring a valid photo ID to get their hands on their tickets.
In addition to the 11 confirmed Vedder shows listed, the Ten Club also includes three additional unconfirmed shows, referred to as “rollover shows” – the Palace Theatre in Albany, N.Y. (June 9), the Orpheum in Memphis, Tenn. (June 21) and Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center in Atlanta (June 24).
PearlJam.com notes it can’t legally sell tickets to the unconfirmed shows during the pre-sale but offers Ten Club members the opportunity to reserve one pair of tickets to a rollover show in addition to a fan’s first choice confirmed concert.
The rollover shows will be confirmed after the public on-sale date and at the point fan’s credit cards will be charged for the unconfirmed shows – if their order is chosen. Whew! So many rules!
