“I Am…” Coming To North America
The singer will kick off the run June 21 at New York City’s Madison Square Garden and wrap it up with a four-night stand July 30 – August 2 at the Encore Theatre at Wynn Las Vegas.
Presale tickets go on sale April 20 to members of Beyoncé’s fan club, with general ticket sales beginning April 25.
In a nod to the current economic downturn, the singer will make 2000 seats available at each venue for $20 (plus those pesky service charges).
Beyoncé and her Survivor Foundation are teaming with the Show Your Helping Hand initiative to co-sponsor food drives at several stops on the tour. Fans can help by donating non-perishable food items at shows or going to ShowYourHelpingHand.com to donate money. The goal of the campaign is to help Feeding America deliver more than 3.5 million meals to local food banks.
And for fans not exactly feeling the glamour, L’Oreal Paris – one of the co-sponsors of B’s tour – will set up glam stations at each show where a team of makeup specialists will provide mini makeovers and touch-ups, topped off with red carpet VIP photo sessions.
