Austin City Limits Lineup Announced

This year’s Austin City Limits Music Festival lineup was announced today with headliners including Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band, Beastie Boys and Kings of Leon.

The eighth edition of the festival takes place Oct. 2-4 in Zilker Park in Austin, Texas. The event includes 130 bands playing on eight stages, showcasing genres from pop to country to indie rock to hip-hop, folk, reggae, blues, gospel and bluegrass.

Additional artists that will be playing in the Texas sun include Ben Harper and , Thievery Corporation, John Legend, The Dead Weather, Levon Helm Band, Ghostland Observatory, Sonic Youth and Mos Def.

There’s also Toadies, Flogging Molly, The B-52s, Lily Allen, Citizen Cope, Arctic Monkeys, The Decemberists, Coheed and Cambria, Andrew Bird and Girl Talk.

The lineup also includes Sound Tribe Sector 9, Phoenix, Bassnectar, Bon Iver, !!!, Avett Brothers, The Airborne Toxic Event, Medeski Martin & Wood,Clutch, Michael Franti & Spearhead and Grizzly Bear.

And there’s more. A list of performers stretching almost as far as the distance between our Fresno Coast HQ and Austin. Bands like Heartless Bastards,Passion Pit and The Walkmen, to mention even a few more names.
